Woodthorne Primary School is seeking a passionate SEND practitioner to lead our newly established SEND Hub.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a bespoke provision for pupils with complex and additional needs. The successful candidate will take day-to-day responsibility for the Hub, delivering high-quality specialist support, coordinating provision and working closely with teachers, leaders, families and external professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the SEND Hub from inception, developing provision and practice.
  • Deliver day-to-day leadership of the Hub and direct work with pupils alongside strategic oversight of SEND provision.
  • Coordinate provision and collaborate with teachers, leaders, families and external professionals.
  • Work within a warm, inclusive school culture where inclusion is a shared responsibility.
  • Operate with professional trust, autonomy and receive strong SLT support.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Ideal for an experienced Level 3 TA who is ready to take the next step into SEND leadership.
  • Experience in leading SEND provision and working with pupils with complex needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
