Overview

37 hours per week. Fixed term contract for 1 year, in the first instance.

The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join Fallings Park Primary School’s team.

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to work with us. The successful applicant must hold a relevant Early Years Qualification at Level 3 or above. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people. You will be supporting the learning of pupils, including those with EAL and SEND needs.

You will also be expected to commit to any further training and qualifications that become necessary to the role in a rapidly changing educational environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • work closely with class teachers, support staff, and the school’s leadership team to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning across the primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
  • provide feedback to class teachers
Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Level 3 or above Early Years Teaching assistant qualification
  • experience working in a primary school or early years setting
  • a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective behaviour management strategies
  • experience of supporting pupils with SEND/EAL needs across different year groups
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication and organisational skills
  • a positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
