A secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their department from February 2026 on a long‑term basis. The role involves teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils to develop strong literacy skills and achieve positive GCSE outcomes. You will take full responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and engagement, and contributing positively to the wider English department.
This position is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs seeking a stable, long‑term placement.
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching English at secondary level
- Be confident delivering both Language and Literature
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, proactive and committed to pupil progress
