School Site Manager

Smile Education is seeking a dependable and experienced School Site Manager to work within a school setting. Applicants must have prior experience in a school environment and be confident carrying out general site maintenance and basic building repairs.

• Manage and maintain the school site, including buildings, grounds, and outdoor areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-presented environment at all times.
• Take overall responsibility for opening, closing, and securing the premises, maintaining site safety throughout the school day.
• Oversee minor repairs and maintenance tasks, and plan, coordinate, and supervise contractors for larger or specialist works.
• Lead, supervise, and support cleaning and caretaking staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, performance, and compliance.
• Provide comprehensive site and operational support, including porterage and setup for school activities and events.
• Act as a key holder for the school, responding appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and out-of-hours issues.

• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Practical maintenance experience
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Professional references
