About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of pupils who require 1:1 support. This is your chance to help young people overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

While primarily education-focused, this role also involves supporting families, carers, and the wider community, working closely with professionals such as Social Workers, Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and Early Intervention Teams. Some work may take place outside the classroom.

You will contribute to the school’s overall responsibility for promoting the learning, personal development, and wellbeing of all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Safeguard and promote the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of pupils

Work in line with professional standards, statutory requirements, and school policies

Support day-to-day organisation and administration within the school

Take responsibility for agreed areas of work, reviewed annually through performance management

Contribute positively to the school’s improvement journey

Undertake additional responsibilities as required
