08:30 - 15:30
Rate of Pay: £150.00 - £250.00 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Are you a resilient and passionate qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
We are working with a specialist provision in Wolverhampton supporting pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 who are working at a primary learning level. The school supports young people with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, and additional learning difficulties, providing a structured, therapeutic and nurturing environment.
This role requires a strong classroom practitioner who can build positive relationships, re-engage pupils with education, and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning levels.
As a Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to a primary learning level for KS3 pupils.
* Differentiate learning to meet a wide range of academic abilities and SEMH needs.
* Implement behaviour support strategies and therapeutic approaches.
* Work closely with support staff, SENCO and senior leaders to implement EHCP targets.
* Create a safe, structured and consistent learning environment that promotes emotional regulation and positive engagement.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised qualification).
* Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, behavioural needs or SEND.
* Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach.
* Ability to build positive, professional relationships with vulnerable learners.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one
* Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
