We’re working with a friendly, community-focused primary school in Wolverhampton looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a school where relationships matter. Staff support each other, pupils are encouraged to do their best, and every adult in the room plays a key role in helping children feel confident and ready to learn.
What your days could look like- Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Working alongside the class teacher to keep lessons running smoothly
- Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Providing extra encouragement to pupils who need a boost
- Helping maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
You won’t just be an extra pair of hands. You’ll be a trusted part of the team.
We’re looking for someone who:- Has experience working with children in a school setting
- Understands classroom routines and expectations
- Can build positive relationships quickly
- Brings patience, energy, and a calm approach
- Is flexible and happy to support where needed
If you’ve worked as a TA before, brilliant. If you’ve supported children in another setting and understand how schools run, we’d still love to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
