The Role:
This is a full-time, term-time role supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted academic support, both 1:1 and in small groups. You’ll assist with lesson preparation, help manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils are fully engaged and progressing in their learning. This is an ideal role for a graduate looking to build classroom experience ahead of a PGCE or teacher training route.

The Candidate:
The school is seeking a graduate with a genuine interest in education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching. Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude are essential. You must be confident working with children, adaptable to different learning needs, and willing to take initiative. Experience working with young people—either in schools or voluntary settings—will be an advantage.
