The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join Merridale Primary School’s team.

Applications are welcome from candidates who can demonstrate substantial, recent experience working within a primary school setting, with proven experience supporting teaching and learning in Key Stage 2.

We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who:

has NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning
is experienced and confident supporting pupils with the KS2 curriculum, including literacy and numeracy, and will have experience working with whole classes, small groups and individual pupils.
has first aid training (or is willing to undergo training)
has experience of working with children with additional needs and those presenting challenging behaviours
has a good standard of Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills. Can communicate well.
has the skills, knowledge and experience to be able build positive relationships to support all children to meet their goals and needs
is resilient and passionate about the social, emotional and mental well-being of young people
is dedicated, creative, reflective, enthusiastic and highly motivated
can work effectively as part of a team and is committed to raising standards for all children
provides a positive, safe, supportive learning environment
has a proven ability to work with increased autonomy and responsibility
