Senior Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence​/Data Science; x

We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic candidates to join us as Senior Lecturers in AI or Data Science.

You will work with staff and students in the pursuit of research both as an individual and as part of the wider School and Faculty activities, encompassing complementary research areas by contributing to the work of established research groups. Hence, you should have a track record of dissemination of research outputs / achievements in high quality scientific/technical journals and have the potential to attract research funding and/or generate external income.

• You must have a PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence or Data Science or a very closely related subject.
• You must be committed to the organisation and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the Department of Computing and Mathematical Sciences on undergraduate and postgraduate courses, across the breadth and depth of its subject areas.
• Membership of a professional body will be essential.

You will be expected to work in a multi-disciplinary team of professionals / academics, and also work very closely with all (academic and non-academic) staff at School and University levels.
