Vision for Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in Wolverhampton on a full-time basis.
About the role- The Teaching Assistant role is full-time with an immediate start and the possibility to continue for the right candidate.
- Support students’ educational, social, and emotional development.
- Be part of a growing team, promoting the school’s values.
- Work in small groups and one-to-one with students.
- The school caters for students who have moderate and complex needs.
- The school follows a child‑centred approach to learning, focusing on students’ interests to create a relevant curriculum.
- Create a secure, safe, and nurturing environment.
- Location is easily accessible from Walsall and Dudley.
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs and behavioural challenges.
- Have suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, which are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undergo thorough interview and reference checks and, where required, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
