Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in Wolverhampton on a full-time basis.

• The Teaching Assistant role is full-time with an immediate start and the possibility to continue for the right candidate.
• Support students’ educational, social, and emotional development.

• Work in small groups and one-to-one with students.

• The school caters for students who have moderate and complex needs.
• The school follows a child‑centred approach to learning, focusing on students’ interests to create a relevant curriculum.

• Location is easily accessible from Walsall and Dudley.

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs and behavioural challenges.
• Have suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, which are desired but not essential.
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
