• Assist, under the direction of the Catering Manager, the effective and efficient running of the School’s catering operation, with due regard to providing a student-focused service in line with current Government standards for school meals, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene Standards, School Policies, School Financial Procedures and personal hygiene.

• Working in regulated activity and subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
• Must not be barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
• Required safeguarding checks:
  Successful DBS, Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024), and completion of an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
• Previous experience in a school catering environment is desirable.

All staff will undergo necessary safeguarding checks. Failure to demonstrate satisfactory safeguarding outcomes may result in the withdrawal of a conditional job offer.
