KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant (September 2026)
We are looking for a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one and small‑group intervention support for Year 6 pupils, helping them build confidence and prepare for exams. The role is based at a primary school in Central Wolverhampton.
Pay: £85–£105 per day.
Responsibilities- Support KS2 pupils through 1:1 and small‑group intervention in the lead‑up to exams.
- Reinforce reading, SPaG, and Maths.
- Help pupils close gaps in learning.
- Prepare simple revision resources.
- Give teachers clear feedback on progress.
You are organised, encouraging, and able to explain ideas clearly to primary‑aged pupils. You want meaningful school‑based experience, enjoy helping children build confidence in core subjects, and are keen to play a direct role in helping pupils feel ready for the demands of upper KS2.
Qualifications- Degree: A 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS:
Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate. - Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Desire to train as a teacher or pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
