Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant

This is a full-time position, to start as soon as possible. Fixed Term initially for a year with the possibility of it becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Grade 4, Point 7-11 £ 26,403 - £28,142 (pro rata)

Actual Salary £19,992.65 - £21,262.03

32.5 Hours per week (term time only + Inset Days)

Wilkinson is a large 2 form entry primary school, situated in Bradley with over 500 pupils on roll aged 2-11 years. The school building is extremely modern and spacious and was one of the first Passive Haus schools in the country to be built, designed to save energy.

Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in working with SEN children. The successful candidate will be working in our informal resource base with Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 children but would be expected to embrace opportunities to work throughout our school.

You will act as a positive role model; developing pupils’ skills and helping them overcome barriers to learning. You should be committed to working in partnership with parents and staff. Applicants should have high expectations of the children and themselves. In addition, applicants must be an excellent communicator, hardworking, creative, enthusiastic and flexible.
