About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant
, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide tailored support for secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. The successful Teaching Assistant will help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment while building positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and emotional regulation.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs

• Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom

• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

• Help maintain a safe and structured learning environment
