** The key points of the role are:

- *** Prepare teaching materials, set up the classroom and organise displays supporting the current curriculum
* Nurture and counsel learners and help them make sense of their intellectual, emotional and social needs
* Talk to parents/carers about their children's progress
* Follow safeguarding procedures and work with outside agencies to support the pupils learning
* Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school's policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school's values and vision.

The successful applicant will be a reflective practitioner with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and success of every student.

Evergreen Academy is a pupil referral unit, based in the Wolverhampton area, with a very clear vision for its future and part of the family within The Shaw Education Trust. Evergreen Academy caters for pupils aged 5-11 and serves the Wolverhampton area and its surroundings.
