Early Years Educator (Level
3)

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Monday – Friday, Term-time + INSET

Grade 5 (NJC 7-9: £26,403 – £27,254 FTE)

32.5 hours per week

The Local Academy Council of Perton Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to work within our Nursery/Pre-school provision, supporting high-quality teaching and learning for our youngest pupils. We are a hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a welcoming, safe, and caring academy and nursery.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds a full and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare & Education or Early Years
  • Has a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Is committed and passionate about improving outcomes for children
  • Maintains high expectations of themselves, colleagues, children, and parents
  • Plans and delivers engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
  • Observes, assesses, and records children’s progress and development
  • Supports children’s learning, independence and wellbeing through play-based provision
  • Promotes a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Works effectively within all school policies and procedures
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and flexible in their approach
