Position:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant – SEND Support

Contract:

Permanent, starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide SEND support for pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing. They will deliver targeted interventions, promote inclusion and independence, and contribute to ensuring that all children achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone with experience of supporting children with complex needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
Qualifications and Experience

  • has experience of supporting children with SEND
  • is caring, patient and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils
  • can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • has high expectations and a passion for inclusive education
