Are you an English Teacher who can turn a classroom discussion into a love of literature? Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Wolverhampton that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Qualified English Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

• Deliver dynamic English Language & Literature lessons across KS3 & KS4
• Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and analysis
• Bring texts to life through creative and engaging teaching strategies
• Use assessment for learning to track progress and raise attainment
• Create a positive, inclusive and high-expectation classroom environment
• Collaborate with a supportive and forward-thinking English department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language & Literature
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
• A passion for inspiring young people and raising achievement
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
