Level 3 Teaching Assistant

The Wulfruna Partnership is seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join Bantock Primary School’s team.

• Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for delivering national and school curriculum under an agreed system of supervision.
• Deliver learning for individuals or groups, monitor pupils, and assess, record and report on pupils' achievement, progress, development and welfare.
• Work under the direction of teaching staff and actively support the delivery of learning that develops skills in pupils and groups/classes in a school.
• Be familiar with teaching and assessment policies and procedures.
• Carry out duties in accordance with set standards and procedures.
• Commit to further training and qualifications that become necessary for the role in a rapidly changing educational environment.

• Good standard of education in English and Maths.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
