The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Pupil & Family Support Lead to join Bantock Primary School’s team.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Pupil & Family Support Lead from September 2026. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young people.
You will also be expected to commit to any further training and qualifications that become necessary to the role in a rapidly changing educational environment.
Responsibilities- Take a lead role within the school to address the needs of pupils, parents and families to enable children to overcome barriers to learning and achievement.
- Deliver pupil and family support within the school setting for children in all Key Stages as appropriate.
- Organise and deliver training to school staff.
- Support children, young people and their families to enable them to maintain or return to stable emotional well‑being. Duties are carried out in accordance with set standards and procedures.
- Good standard of education in English and Maths.
- Level 3 qualifications in childcare, social work, counselling or education, along with proven experience working with children & families or equivalent.
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
