Lecturer in Economics & Business
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our academic team. The role involves teaching across a range of Economics and Business modules, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting student achievement and employability.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-quality teaching that promotes an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and contribute to module assessment design.
- Engage in scholarly and professional development activities that enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to the wider academic life of the Department and School, including committee work and departmental events.
- Support student achievement and employability through guidance and development activities.
- Participate in departmental and institutional initiatives, including outreach and industry partnerships.
- Good honours degree and a postgraduate qualification; a PhD in Economics or a closely related discipline is required.
- Experience teaching Economics and Business at higher‑education level.
- Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality teaching, curriculum development, and student support.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and graduate employability.
- Professional membership of a relevant body is desirable.
