Job Role

Send Teacher (Full-time & Part-time) – supportive teaching roles within special schools and alternative provisions, working with pupils with additional needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Complex needs and communication difficulties

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with a variety of additional needs in primary and secondary SEND settings, deliver tailored lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Experience or strong interest in special educational needs teaching
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Compassionate, patient and adaptable teaching approach
Passion for working within special education schools
