Industrial Placement Officer – Wolverhampton College ✨

Location:

Wolverhampton (across all College sites and external employer locations)

Contract:

Full-time – 37 Hours per Week

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Wolverhampton College to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Industrial Placement Officer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in gaining valuable workplace experience by building strong employer partnerships and helping to secure high-quality industrial placement opportunities.

About the Role

As an Industrial Placement Officer at Wolverhampton College, you will:
Support the promotion of the College’s industrial placement programme through networking, employer engagement, and relationship-building activities,
Work closely with employers to identify, prepare, and monitor industrial placement opportunities for learners,
Maintain professional relationships with placement providers and deliver excellent customer service throughout the placement process,
Ensure employers understand and fulfil their responsibilities when providing industrial placements,
Monitor placement targets in collaboration with curriculum teams and the Industrial Placement Coordinator,
Support the tracking, monitoring, and quality assurance of placements, including risk assessments, attendance records, safeguarding requirements, and learner progress.

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with employers, customers, learners, or stakeholders in an education, training, recruitment, or business environment,
Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills,
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a range of external partners,
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively,
A proactive and customer-focused approach with a commitment to supporting learner success,
A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
