About the role
Teacher Active is working with a fantastic primary aged SEND school in Wolverhampton that provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for children with moderate to severe learning needs. The role is for a part‑time Learning Support Assistant who will support primary aged pupils with moderate to severe learning needs, assisting with classroom activities, promoting independence and providing personal care, including changing nappies where required.
Qualificationsand Experience
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly moderate to severe learning needs.
- Experience supporting primary aged children within an education or care setting.
- Willingness to provide personal care, including changing nappies when required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, caring and positive attitude.
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 for onboarding support.
- CPD courses and certificates through the My-Progression channel.
