Are you ready for an exciting new challenge based at White Hall Academy supporting the needs of primary school children in the Clacton area?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated learning support assistant to support children within our school.
If you have previous experience supporting children with SEND, this may be for you. You may be required to work in one of the SEND provisions within White Hall Academy on occasions.
Are you able to demonstrate that you have moved a child's learning forward through your support?
We are a three-form entry primary school with happy, self-motivated children, supportive parents and a creative and dynamic staff team.
We ensure that staff and parents work together to support the development of all children both academically as well as socially and emotionally.
Responsibilities- Support the learning and development of primary school children, including those with SEND.
- Work in the SEND provisions as required, providing tailored assistance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to deliver inclusive education.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual learning plans.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Patient, tolerant and understanding approach to child development.
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
