We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced class teacher, supporting the learning and development of a designated key group of children within a vibrant and engaging EYFS setting.

The Role

As part of the Early Years team, you will:

  • Hold responsibility for a key group of approximately 8 children.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Observe, track and record children's progress against EYFS developmental milestones.
  • Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to assessments.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
  • Experience observing, monitoring and recording children's progress.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting young children.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Hays.
