We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced class teacher, supporting the learning and development of a designated key group of children within a vibrant and engaging EYFS setting.
The RoleAs part of the Early Years team, you will:
- Hold responsibility for a key group of approximately 8 children.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Observe, track and record children's progress against EYFS developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to assessments.
- Work closely with the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive.
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Experience observing, monitoring and recording children's progress.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting young children.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Hays.
- Day rate of up to £110 per day in addition to holiday pay
