Position: Lecturer in Project Management (Flying Faculty)

The University of Wolverhampton is seeking enthusiastic and experienced academics to support the delivery of its Project Management and Built Environment programmes, with an initial focus on teaching at our Joint Education Institute (JEI) in Kunming, China.

Based within the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering, you will contribute to a well-established portfolio of professionally accredited programmes, including Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Property and Real Estate Management, and Building Control.

You will undertake teaching, supervision and academic support activities across undergraduate and postgraduate provision in both the UK and China. Overseas teaching will be delivered through agreed flying faculty arrangements, typically totalling up to three months per academic year. Working closely with colleagues and our international partner, you will help ensure an excellent student experience and maintain the University’s high academic standards.

The role includes curriculum development, assessment, personal tutoring, and collaboration on programme enhancement. You will also contribute to research and scholarly activity, supporting the School’s research agenda and engaging with established research groups.

Applicants must hold a
PhD in Project Management, the Built Environment, or a closely related discipline
and have expertise in one or more areas of Project Management and the Built Environment. A strong commitment to high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential. Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.

Appointment is subject to the successful candidate being able to obtain and maintain the right to work in China.
