Graduate Teaching Assistant

Step Into Teaching are working with a wonderful primary school in Bilston (WV14) who are looking for a Graduate with a passion to inspire children and help them by supporting with children of all abilities and join their team in September for the 26/27 academic year.

This is an ideal opportunity for any graduate who is interested in starting a career in teaching/education. This is your chance to experience the craft of the classroom before committing to a teacher training programme in the future.

• Primary school based in Bilston (WV14)
• Based in Year 6
• Full time
  - Monday
  - Friday
• September start for the 26/27 academic year
• £500 - £530 per week - term time only
• Your chance to gain real classroom experience

• Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
• Experience working with children in upper Key Stage 2 (desired, not essential)
• Be able to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
• Self-motivated and flexible due to working across different levels
• A vision for creating an exceptional place of learning
• The ability to assist in evaluating individual pupils needs and progress
• Excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of individual students

The ideal candidate may have some experience working across different age groups whether it be in an educational setting or otherwise.
