Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in the Wolverhampton area that is seeking a qualified English Teacher (QTS) to join their English department from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school on a positive journey of improvement, where high expectations, excellent pastoral care and a commitment to student success are at the heart of everything they do. Staff are passionate about raising aspirations and believe every young person deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. While the school can present its challenges, you'll be supported by a collaborative leadership team and experienced colleagues who work together to ensure both staff and students succeed.

The Role
  • Teach engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication.
  • Create a positive classroom culture built on high expectations and mutual respect.
  • Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to help every student achieve their potential.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.
We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A resilient, positive and enthusiastic approach.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed, particularly those who may need extra encouragement to reach their full potential.
What You'll Receive
  • Competitive pay in line with the Main Pay Scale (dependent on experience).
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant throughout your placement.
  • The opportunity to work in a school with strong leadership, a supportive staff team and a clear vision for continued improvement.
  • The chance to make a real impact on the lives and future aspirations of young people.

If you're looking for a role where your passion, resilience and enthusiasm will be valued, we'd love to hear from you.
