Cover Supervisor

What you'll be doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into lessons when teachers are absent and help keep learning on track. You'll:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

Keep students focused, engaged, and motivated

Manage classroom behaviour using the school's policies and routines

Support students as they work independently

Create a calm and purposeful learning environment

Build positive relationships with students and staff

You won't be expected to plan lessons or mark work, making this an excellent stepping stone for anyone considering teacher training or a career in education.
