PA to the Headteacher – 12-month maternity cover

We are seeking a 12-month maternity cover for the established and successful PA to the Headteacher who leaves for maternity leave in October. This is a highly important and impactful with a wide-ranging brief and variety to it that makes every day different. The role is pivotal to ensuring the success of the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in a successful school with improving results, meaning that your work impacts on the success of our children, even if you do not teach them yourself.

The ideal candidate will have worked in school administration with an experience of how schools work, or have worked in a similar PA role in another field with the transferable skills to come into school and be successful. The role is a combination of front‑of‑house and diary support with administrative work which has a strong HR and safeguarding element, meaning that experience in these areas would be welcomed.

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
