Aspire People are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist schools in Wolverhampton. These settings require staff who are confident supporting pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, Autism and other complex learning needs.
The successful candidates will be able to remain calm under pressure, establish clear boundaries and build trusting relationships with pupils who may need additional support to regulate their emotions and engage in education.
Essential:- Level 2/3 TA qualification OR Level 3 Health & Social Care
- Experience working with children or young people
- Understanding of SEND and/or challenging behaviour
- Confident and consistent approach
- Reliable and available for full-time work
Experience from residential care, youth work, sports coaching, security, education or other people-focused environments may also be relevant alongside the required qualification.
