The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated practitioner (minimum Level
3) to work within our school.
The role will include:
- providing support within the classroom, under the direction of the class teacher
- working with the other staff in the year group to establish appropriate learning support for identified children/groups
- implementing agreed teaching activities
- working with the EYFS staff to establish an appropriate learning environment
- monitoring and evaluating pupils’ responses to learning activities through observational assessments and planned recording of achievement/progress against pre-determined learning objectives
- providing objective and accurate regular feedback on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems, etc.
Applicants must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and a good level of English and Maths.
