Lunchtime Supervisor

Smile Education are currently recruiting for aLunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Wolverhampton area (WV6).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in creating a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment.

The successful applicant will supervise pupils during lunchtime, support positive behaviour and ensure children are safe and happy both in the dining area and on the playground.

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and play
• Supporting children in the dining hall
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
• Ensuring pupils follow school rules and safety procedures
• Responding appropriately to minor incidents
• Supporting children to have a positive lunchtime experience
• Liaising with teachers and school staff when required

• Enjoy working with children
• Be friendly, approachable and patient
• Have good communication skills
• Be reliable and responsible
• Be confident managing groups of children
• Have a positive and proactive attitude
• Ideally have previous experience working with children

• Working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
• Supporting children during lunchtime, breaktime or activities
• Managing positive behaviour
• Providing care and supervision to children
• Working as part of a school or education team
• A genuine interest in supporting children's wellbeing and development
• Availability to work during lunchtime hours
