Wednesfield Academy is seeking a Technology Technician to support the technology department and the experiences of its students. The core of the job is preparing tools, equipment and materials for lessons and working alongside teaching staff to develop the department's work. It is a term-time post of 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a start as soon as possible.
Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Provide technical support and assistance to the department
- Prepare tools, equipment and materials for lessons
- Work closely with teaching staff to support and develop the department's work
- Support the experiences of students
- GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications
- Computer and keyboard skills
- Operating relevant office equipment
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Pre-employment checks under Keeping Children Safe in Education
- Comprehensive well-being package

- Annual health checks including flu jab, BMI checks and a discussion with a qualified nurse
