Field Technician (Midlands Region).
Discipline:
Hydrogeology, geology, hydrology, hydrometrics.
Location:
Flexible within south and western midlands region.
Basis:
Mixed field / site based with hybrid working, occasional office attendance (Wolverhampton).
Term:
Permanent.
Hours:
Full time.
Salary:
Competitive (dependent on experience).

ResponsibilitiesThe role will involve gathering primary field data at greenfield and active aggregates / landfill developments, digitising, processing, interpreting and archiving it, working remotely and attending the office weekly. It will also involve input into larger field trials, drilling supervision and supporting technical assessment.
QualificationsUndergraduate degree in geology, environmental science or a directly related discipline (or due to graduate this year). Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet packages. Experience in GIS, field data collection, data logging equipment/software and working within a strict health and safety environment is preferred. Technically minded, innovative, practical, with good time management, problem‑solving skills and an ability to work outdoors. A full current manual‑transmission driving licence is required, and the role involves driving across the UK and ROI, including occasional overnight stays.
Physically fit with resilience to accommodate varied, demanding work.
