This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring engineer or technical professional looking to develop specialist expertise in chemical processing, aerospace quality standards, and NADCAP accreditation within a world-class manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Support and develop chemical surface treatment processes including plating, passivation, chromating, phosphating, blasting, and cleaning operations.
  • Help drive NADCAP audit readiness , coordinate evidence gathering, and support the closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain process controls including chemical bath composition, dosing, filtration, temperature, and agitation to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Investigate process and quality issues using root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, control plans, and operating procedures.
  • Partner with production teams to provide training, coaching, and technical support.
  • Support environmental, health, and safety compliance relating to chemical handling and waste management.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and process capability.
What We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates with a technical or engineering background who are eager to learn and develop in a specialist manufacturing environment.

  • An HNC/HND, degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous exposure to manufacturing, metal finishing, plating, surface treatments, or process engineering.
  • An understanding of basic analytical techniques such as pH testing, conductivity measurement, or titration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across production and engineering teams.
  • Confidence using Excel and other computer-based systems.
Desirable Experience
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or aerospace quality standards.
  • Exposure to NADCAP audits or compliance activities.
  • Experience with plating thickness measurement, adhesion testing, or corrosion testing.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance and hazardous material handling.
