Paraplanner

We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to support our team of advisers in preparing high‑quality suitability reports and providing the technical research needed to underpin their recommendations. This role is primarily focused on report writing, ensuring that all client communications are clear, accurate, and compliant. You will also carry out research to support adviser recommendations and liaise with product providers or platforms as required to maintain the technical knowledge needed for report preparation.

The role involves working closely with advisers and administrative staff to ensure reports are accurate and delivered efficiently.

• Preparing suitability reports, working alongside advisers and administrative staff as required
• Conducting research to support adviser recommendations
• Liaising with product providers and platforms to support report preparation
• Ensuring all work meets FCA and internal compliance standards

• Previous experience in a paraplanning role within a UK IFA firm (essential)
• Knowledge of Genovo and/or IO (Intelliflo) platforms is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and general financial planning principles
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently while supporting advisers
• Working towards, or holding, relevant financial planning qualifications
