Are you a commercially minded finance leader who thrives on planning, forecasting and influencing strategic decision-making?

We’re partnering with a well-established organisation managing significant long-term projects, currently at an exciting stage of growth and evolution. As part of a high-performing finance function, this FP&A Manager role offers genuine exposure to FP&A, strategic planning and executive-level decision support.

This is not a “numbers in, numbers out” reporting role. It’s a commercially focused position where you’ll play a central role in shaping financial strategy and driving performance.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the organisation’s planning and forecasting processes while acting as a true business partner to senior stakeholders across the business.

You’ll sit at the heart of financial decision-making – building robust financial models, challenging assumptions, analysing performance and helping leaders make informed, forward-looking choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Own and drive the monthly reforecasting cycle, providing meaningful insight to department heads
  • Deliver high-quality variance analysis with clear, commercially focused commentary
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support scenario planning and business cases
  • Partner with budget holders to challenge spend, improve cost control and enhance value delivery
  • Provide financial insight on projects, investment decisions and operational initiatives
  • Support shareholder and senior leadership reporting with forward-looking analysis
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, contributing to strategic discussions
  • Line management of a small team, fostering continuous improvement and development
About You
  • Strong FP&A experience with ownership of budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Advanced financial modelling capability
  • Confident business partner able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insight
  • Experience operating in a multi-stakeholder or regulated environment would be advantageous
Why Join?
  • Salary up to £80,000
  • Further enhanced benefits
  • Strong learning & development culture
  • Inclusive, collaborative working environment

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute Senior Finance Professional who wants to step into a role with real influence, strategic exposure and long-term impact.
