We’re supporting a private equity-backed, global engineering and manufacturing group (~£200m revenue) supplying safety-critical components into sectors including energy, infrastructure, and defence.

Following a recent integration of its European operations, the business is entering a key transformation and growth phase
, creating an opportunity for a high-calibre Finance Director to join the leadership team of a c.£60m division based in the West Midlands
.

Reporting to the Group CFO and partnering closely with the Managing Director, you will:

• Act as a true commercial business partner to drive performance and value creation
• Lead the finance function
  , ensuring strong controls, reporting, and governance
• Provide insight across costing, pricing, working capital, and operational performance
• Play a key role in transformation, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support strategic decision-making
  , from shop floor operations to board-level discussions

You will likely be:

• A qualified Finance Director / Head of Finance with significant experience
• From a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
• Commercially driven, with strong business partnering capability
• Comfortable operating in a PE-backed, change-oriented environment
