Pension Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Pensions Officer to join the Payroll & Pensions Team at the University of Wolverhampton

Experience with Teachers Pension Scheme, Local Government Pension Scheme and the Universities Superannuation Scheme would be an advantage.

The post holder will be responsible for the day to day administration of the University Pension Schemes including the processing of retirements; preparation and calculation of pension estimates; ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner for pensions to be paid to retiring members and ensure that all pension records are maintained and updated in line with Pension Regulations.

The successful candidate will be dealing with a high volume of pensions work, and it is essential that you are able to organise and prioritise your workload to ensure all the work is completed in conjunction with the deadlines. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
