Job descriptionAbout the Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Finance professional to join our team, playing a key role in driving cash performance and delivering high-quality financial insight across Safran Actuation UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a business partnering role where you'll collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Shared Services and operational teams to optimise cash flow, support strategic decision-making and influence business performance. You'll take ownership of cash reporting, forecasting and financial analysis while helping to shape business plans and improve financial processes.
Working within a supportive Finance team of qualified, part-qualified and early-career professionals, you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise, build strong stakeholder relationships and make a visible impact across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing- Take ownership of cash reporting, bank reconciliations, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting for key stakeholders.
- Analyse monthly financial performance, identifying trends, variances and opportunities to improve business performance.
- Support the delivery of weekly forecasts, monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long-term strategic plans, ensuring data accuracy and alignment across the business.
- Lead the consolidation of sales and margin reporting across multiple value streams for actual results, forecasts and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain reporting templates that meet the needs of Finance and wider business stakeholders.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by maintaining strong controls and governance processes.
- Investigate data issues, identify root causes and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Produce meaningful financial analysis that supports FP&A reporting and enables informed business decisions.
- Partner closely with Value Stream Finance Teams, Supply Chain, Finance Shared Services and other business functions to understand cash movements and foreign currency exposure, helping to optimise cash performance and mitigate FX risk.
- Support wider FP&A activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance function.

- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong Analytical skills with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent financial planning, analysis, and reporting skills
- Ability to digest and manipulate complex data sets to translate into meaningful information.
- FP&A or management accounting experience in a manufacturing and engineering business.
- Ability to prioritise workload, be self-motivated and be an effective communicator.
- Experience working in a matrixed or global organisation
- Knowledge of Aerospace
