Finance Business Partner

Overview Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working with a well-established, growing UK business who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to their finance team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to join a large, operationally focused organisation where finance plays an important role in driving performance, supporting business decisions and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You'll work closely with operational stakeholders and budget holders, helping them understand financial performance and translate data into meaningful commercial insight. With exposure to budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and financial analysis, you'll play an active role in identifying trends, challenging variances and supporting decisions around costs, productivity and business performance. This is a role where you can build strong relationships across the business and see the impact of your work beyond the finance department.

Alongside the commercial responsibilities, you'll maintain a hands-on involvement in management accounts, month-end reporting, reconciliations and VAT, working closely with the wider finance team. The role offers a strong balance of technical accounting and business partnering, making it well suited to someone looking to broaden their commercial exposure while continuing to develop their accounting expertise. Skills Needed Part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant, or equivalent, with a solid grounding in management accounting.

Experience across management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis. Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce meaningful management information. Confident communicator who can build relationships with stakeholders, present findings and provide constructive challenge. Commercially minded, proactive and organised, with the ability to balance core finance responsibilities with wider business support.
