Public affairs & Comms Officer - Full or Part time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and proactive Public affairs & Communications
Officer to join a leading business membership organisation. This role will play a key part in shaping policy communications, influencing decision-makers, and ensuring the voice of local businesses is heard across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead communications and engagement activity relating to policy, public affairs and business advocacy.
• Build strong relationships with members, stakeholders, policymakers and business leaders.
• Research and identify political, economic and policy issues affecting businesses.
• Develop responses to consultations, policy changes and regulatory developments.
• Produce engaging content including reports, newsletters, magazine articles, thought leadership pieces and briefing papers.
• Organise and attend member meetings, events, consultations and networking activities.
• Commission and analyse business research, surveys and economic intelligence.
