Healthcare Nursing
Job Summary
This post has become vacant due to the current post holder requiring maternity leave and offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team of occupational health practitioners based at New Cross Hospital. Our service is part of the Human Resources Directorate and we provide occupational health & wellbeing support to both Trust staff and external customers and deliver health and wellbeing initiatives in line with corporate & national strategy.
Hours of work will be arranged over 5 days a week with core hours of 08.30 to 16.30 and an occasional requirement to work outside these hours to meet service needs potentially to support seasonal work as required such as vaccination campaigns. The postholder will be expected to work in our satellite departments and on various external client sites so a car diver/owner is an essential requirement.
A key component of the role will be to support the Specialist Team Leader responsible for service delivery to an existing external contract and, dependent on the service needs of our customers, there will be times when off site clinics will require the nurse to be available all day, with appropriate notice, and hours adjusted accordingly. We can promise a pleasant and supportive working environment in exchange for a self‑motivated and flexible team member with a positive attitude and an interest in helping us to promote a healthy working environment for our valued staff.
