Cygnet Healthcare is looking for a Activity Co‑ordinator (Maternity Cover) to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley House
.

Please be aware that this role is a Maternity Cover role – up to 9 months.

The successful candidate will work 42 hours per week, from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM – Monday to Friday.

Cygnet Sedgley House is a 20‑bed service providing a full multi‑disciplinary team, including occupational therapy, psychology and psychiatry, with support from registered nurses and support workers.

• Encourage patients to access and become involved in a variety of activities, as well as maintain any pre‑existing hobbies.
• Plan and implement therapy programmes while ensuring appropriate materials are obtained.
• Contribute ideas and facilitate events and activities in a safe manner.

• Experience and/or a passion for working in healthcare.
• Some knowledge of Occupational Therapy.
• A creative flair and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• An awareness of recovery approaches and social inclusion (desirable).

• Salary: £13.70 per hour.
