Care Assistant

Job Overview

Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Carer position (Day / Night) available for Eversleigh Care Centre, a Nursing Home. Provide a high standard of personalised care in a safe, efficient, homely environment following Care Plans made by qualified nursing staff.

• Follow instructions from the Manager, Nurse in Charge, or the Care Team Leader.
• Ensure the premises are kept secure at all times.
• Keep any information collected during duties confidential.
• Secure all residents’ records to maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure economical use of the Home’s resources and minimise wastage by all staff.
• Maintain safety for all residents, visitors and staff.
• Uphold the good name of the Home at all times.
• Treat all residents and visitors with respect.
• Liaise with visitors and external agencies professionally.
• Maintain high accommodation standards so the Home remains presentable, tidy and clean.
• Eliminate Health & Safety hazards that might risk residents or visitors.
• Report abuse or neglect of residents urgently to the Sister-in Charge or Manager.

Job Types: Contract, Permanent.
Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Expected hours: 33 per week (8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8pm-8am).
