Domiciliary Care Assistant (NO TRAVEL AS FIXED LOCATION)

Days – £13.25 per hour (6 hour shifts: 08:00‑14:00 & 14:00‑20:00, 12 hour shift: 08:00‑20:00, including alternate weekends)
Nights – £14.03 per hour (20:00‑08:00, including alternate weekend)
£500 welcome bonus – Paid breaks and excellent Bupa benefits. Permanent positions with guaranteed hours.
Responsibilities- Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing and continence care in their own homes within the Village, upholding the highest standards of care and supporting their dignity and independence.
- Supporting at mealtimes where appropriate; serving meals in their apartments or within the care home and assisting with walking, transfer to a wheelchair or use of a hoist.
- Promoting mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies, interests or activities within the village.
- Answering emergency calls when the care alert system is activated.
- Working with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other external professionals such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists where appropriate.
- Admin duties: keeping accurate records – maintaining full documentation at all times to show care given, activities and any changes to their health.
Your experience in a care or dementia setting, or a Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), is commendable. However, it is your passion for caring for others, honouring their choices, and prioritising their safety and well‑being that truly stands out. As an excellent listener with an optimistic attitude you engage confidently with both residents and their families, recognising the paramount importance of confidentiality in our work.
You are ready to set a positive example and assist the broader team, providing care with dignity and empathy, striving daily to bring joy to our residents.
