Senior Care Assistant – Bank (Newcross Care Home, Wolverhampton)

Join our award‑winning team to provide high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Main Duties
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes that affect care plans, ensuring new needs are met and records are updated.
  • Participate in person‑centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Assist residents with medication requirements.
  • Supervise staff and support their development where required.
  • Act as the key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
Qualifications & Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, nurturing attitude toward residents and staff.
  • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Additional Requirements
  • DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
